A short film exploring Mumbai’s urban renewal as seen from Byculla, a multicultural inner-city neighborhood symbolically and physically bypassed by road infrastructure projects in Mumbai’s race for global city status (13 min, film by Dr. Ayona Datta)
‘City Forgotten: The fate of India’s towns in mega-urbanization’ 
Through the eyes of residents, local activists and civil society members, ‘City Forgotten’ tells the story of Malegaon’s fall from what was once the ‘Manchester of India’, to a town blighted by communal violence and in serious decline. (15 min, film by Dr. Ayona Datta)

‘Bidesia in Bambai’ 
A story of music, migration and mobile phones – This film follows the plight of two ambitious singers in Mumbai who occupy extreme ends of the migrant worker’s vibrant music scene, a taxi-driver chasing his first record deal and Kalpana, the star of the industry trying to get a break into Bollywood. (86 min, film by Surabhi Sharma)
